I am a small town PEI web designer, graphic designer, and creative with big dreams. I LOVE minimalism, puppies, naps, PEI beaches and thrifting.

I LOVE helping small businesses, like Etsy sellers because I KNOW how hard it is to own a small business.

In 2013 I moved to Canada to be with the love of my life, Mark.

While I was super in love with this handsome Canadian man, I had to go through the immigration process and I was not allowed to work for almost two years.

After two years of going through the immigration process, I opened my own business due to necessity,

I couldn’t find well-paid design jobs in PEI so I started freelancing and contracting.

I worked for big brands like Starwood Hotels, Bachelor Canada, Etsy, Veterans Affairs Canada and Autodesk.

However, something was missing. I didn’t feel like my work had a purpose. I didn’t feel fulfilled.

So I searched deep into my soul and learned that my calling is to help other small business owners.

 

Currently…

I coach Etsy sellers and small business owners on how to use Squarespace at its potential so they can grow profitable, passionate and authentic businesses that allow them to have a better work-life balance.

I am energized by making other people feel empowered, encouraged and less alone.

Solopreneurship can be a hella lonely journey but it doesn’t have to be that way.

We, as small business owners have to have each other’s back.

The tools and lessons available on this website are meant to help you stress less about how you look online.

I didn’t always have this mindset

Just two years ago you could find me at my desk creating corporate graphics for big corporations. I was making lots of money but after five years of corporate jobs, I could feel my creativity dying. After a few awkward situations at the workplace, I realized that everybody is replaceable and the future was uncertain. I had all the eggs in ONE basket and I didn’t even LOVE that basket.

It is especially hard for women

I am a woman. I want to make money. I want a family too. As a self-employed, it would be hard to have a family and do client work. We juggle so many things and it shouldn’t.

TRANSFORM PASSION INTO A BUSINESS

Making the decision to transform my passion into a business is the best thing I did in my life.

I have created many types of designs but the ones that always brought me joy were related to helping small business owners.

My goal is to help all of you reach your goals with beautiful templates. I know for a fact that when you are starting up, the budget can be pretty tight for anything else that doesn’t involve supplies.

That’s why I started creating these Squarespace templates for makers, creators, bloggers and entrepreneurs.
